Brand new resorts for couples, friends and families are being offered by Kuoni in 2023 with exciting features such as glitter balls, transparent dance floors, and beautiful beachside villas.
Kuoni has added three new resorts to its Maldives collection this year with further new announcements regarding plans for hotels in Mauritius, Sri Lanka and the Seychelles. The premium long-haul tour operator has seen an increase in families, groups of friends and solo travellers since the pandemic and its new offerings are ready to serve this market.
In Mauritius, The Standard offers 115 water and beachside villas with an array of activities and experiences including daily yoga classes, diving, boat trips and snorkelling on the surrounding house reef. It also boasts unique features including transparent dance floors and glitter balls.
Its second addition in the Maldives is the five-star Emerald Faarufushi Resort and spa, due to open later this year.
Thirdly, the company is targeting solo travellers, divers and couples with its 36 traditional beachfront bungalows – providing a simpler type of holiday on Makunudu island.
In Mauritius, Kuoni has added the all-inclusive Lux Grand Baie featuring 116 suites, resort villas, residences and penthouses with rooftop bars and private pools.
Meanwhile in Sri Lanka, the brand has added the Aliya Resort and Spa to its collection – ideal for families hoping to holiday in the Sigiriya area of the cultural triangle. The island country is one of Kuoni’s most requested destinations and was recently put back on sale following the lifting of FCDO advice.
The brand is also offering five-star accommodations in the Seychelles including Story on Mahe Island and the brand new Raffles resort, perfect for high-end family holidays. The resort offers a personalised experience for children including mini bathrobes, umbrellas and aprons for cooking classes.
Kuoni is also adding the boutique hotel Ness by D-Ocean to its offering in La Reunion, often twinned with Mauritius.
