TOURISM FIJI CELEBRATES PATA GOLD AWARD WIN FOR LATEST MARKETING CAMPAIGN
Tourism Fiji – the country’s tourist board – is celebrating after its ‘Open for Happiness’ campaign won Best Marketing Campaign at the 2022 Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) Gold Awards Ceremony.
The global campaign, fronted by Hollywood actress Rebel Wilson, was launched to let the world know when Fiji – home to 333 islands – re-opened to tourists after the Covid pandemic
Now in its 38th year, The PATA Gold Awards recognise the best in travel marketing, creativity and innovation tailored for the Asia Pacific region and beyond.
Emma Campbell, chief marketing officer Tourism Fiji said: “This award is an amazing recognition of a unique campaign that helped us tell the world that Fiji was open again. It’s a testament to the work of our brilliant Tourism Fiji marketing team who pulled out all the stops to bring this to life. The campaign results speak for themselves and are reflected by a solid recovery in our tourism sector.
