Study tourism: Experts and measurable outcomes

Study tourism is an important segment represented at ITB China this year. The focus is shifting in recent years towards structured learning, cognitive development and measurable educational outcomes. Parents want visible and measurable growth, and there is an increased demand for proof of learning. According to Mr. Kenny Xu, EVP YingFu Kids and Teens “From an educational perspective, parents now seek more than simple course participation. They expect rigorous learning frameworks and visible outcomes.” He explains that to meet this demand, “we use Project-Based Learning (PBL) as a core methodology and integrate YingFu’s proprietary Learn–Explore–Apply teaching model to create a complete growth journey from cognitive understanding and field exploration to internalised achievement.”

Along the same lines, another trend is expert-led study tours, where the value lies in access to specialists rather than the destination itself. Mr Samson Li, Founder of Hi Kids International, states that they have observed three common types of special requests: dedicated mentors, in-depth workshops and special transportation arrangements. “Parents hope to match their children with mentors who have specific professional backgrounds, such as PhD-level specialists who accompany the group throughout the journey.”


研学旅游正成为今年 ITB China 重点关注的旅游细分领域之一。近年来,研学市场的关注重点,已经从单纯的“行程体验”,转向更加重视体系化学习、认知成长与成果交付。对很多家庭而言,“到此一游”式的研学安排已经不再具备足够吸引力。孩子的成长是否真正可见、可评估,也正在成为影响家庭决策的重要因素。英孚乐游总经理许振华表示:“从教育视角来看,如今家长已经不再满足于简单的课程参与,而是更加看重完整严谨的学习体系,以及清晰可见的成长成果。”他进一步解释,为回应市场变化,英孚乐游将 PBL(项目式学习)作为核心方法论,并深度融合英孚教育“学习-探索-实践”的行动教学模式,构建起从认知建构、场景探索到成果内化的完整成长闭环。

与此同时,“专家交付型”研学也正在快速兴起。相比目的地本身,越来越多家庭更看重能否接触真正具备专业背景的导师与行业专家。嗨Kids国际营地创始人李永刚表示,目前市场中最常见的三类“特别需求”,分别是专属导师、深度工作坊,以及特殊交通安排。“家长希望为孩子匹配具备特定专业背景的导师,例如由相关领域博士或专业学者全程带队。”
