Poland presents resumed visa services and enhanced flight connectivity at ITB China 2024
Since 6 May 2024, Poland Visa Application Centres in 15 cities across China have resumed operations. These centres process applications for Poland Schengen and National Visas, facilitating travel for Chinese nationals. The Embassy of Poland in Beijing will handle applications from Beijing, Changsha, Jinan, Shenyang, Wuhan, and Xi’an. The Consulate General in Chengdu will manage Chengdu, Chongqing, and Kunming. The Consulate General in Guangzhou will cover Guangzhou and Shenzhen, while the Consulate General in Shanghai will oversee Shanghai, Fuzhou, Hangzhou, and Nanjing.
Appointment bookings opened on 23 April 2024, and all appointments made at the Embassy of the Republic of Poland will proceed as scheduled. This development is expected to streamline the visa application process for Chinese travellers, encouraging smoother travel plans to Poland.
LOT Polish Airlines has announced the resumption of direct flights from Beijing Capital Airport to Warsaw Airport beginning on 2 June 2024, with three flights per week. Air China will also continue to operate three direct flights per week from Beijing to Warsaw, providing ample options for travellers.
These measures reflect a significant step towards enhancing connectivity between China and Poland, making travel more accessible for Chinese tourists and business travellers. The resumption of visa services and direct flights is anticipated to boost tourism and strengthen bilateral relations between the two nations.
