Ms Jane Sun, CEO of Trip.com Group, shared her perspective on the evolving travel landscape. She highlighted the rapid recovery of the global travel and tourism sector and the transformative role of Artificial Intelligence (AI). Trip.com Group’s investments in state-of-the-art technologies aim to refine the travel journey for its clientele. Ms Sun emphasised the emergence of novel demands and trends, underscoring the need for businesses to remain agile and responsive to shifting customer needs. Trip.com’s data reveals a surge in luxury hotel bookings, with Indonesia and Japan witnessing significant growth. The company has also observed a rising demand for sustainable travel, with a majority of travelers prioritising it. Trip.com’s recent initiatives, like Trip.Best and Trip Moments, cater to these changing dynamics, ensuring a tailored travel experience.
