ITB CHINA MEETUP EVENT ATTRACTS 175 ATTENDEES IN SHENZHEN
The ITB China Industry MeetUp 2020 event series — Shenzhen Station took place successfully at JW Marriott Hotel Shenzhen on 24 September, attracting attendees from various segments of the travel industry.
The event series – co-hosted by the European Travel Commission – is specially designed for travel suppliers to present their companies in face-to-face talks with local travel agents.
A meeting area is included for buyers and suppliers, keynote speeches and panel discussions, and a concluding networking dinner to rebuild connections and discuss future business opportunities.
The ITB China Industry MeetUp 2020 series is set to take place in seven major cities in China between September and November 2020.
During the Shenzhen event, a number of topical issues were addressed, including the challenges and recovery of the industry, the digitalisation of travel marketing, changes in the MICE market.
Zhang Jun, General Manager of China International Travel Service Shenzhen Co., Ltd, said, “The market will evolve from resources to products, from cost effectiveness to quality, and from quality to variety. The upcoming Changsha station event will be held in Luxury Collection Hotel Meixi Lake Hotel Changsha on October 15. The Hunan Association of Travel Services is confirmed to be the co-host of the Changsha station.

Experts from Hunan province including Mr. Li Ming, Chairman of Hunan TC Enjoygoing International Travel Service Co., Ltd, Ms. Tracy Zuo, CEO of LSC Customised Travel of Hunan New Comfort International Travel Co., Ltd and many others, have been invited to share their insights on the latest demand of Chinese travellers, quality travel and new opportunities for travel plus education under a reforming market.
