SHERATON EXPANDS ACROSS GREATER CHINA WITH NEW XI’AN CHANBA HOTEL

Global hotelier Sheraton is continuing its expansion across Greater China with the upcoming opening of Sheraton Xi’an Chanba.

The Greater China region features eight Sheraton hotels, including the upcoming Sheraton Xi’an Chanba. The company says it will have over 30 properties by the end of 2022.

“Following the transformation of four incredible hotels across Greater China, we’re excited to welcome these four additional hotels in the region entering a new chapter showcasing the brand’s new vision,” said Amanda Nichols, global brand leader, Sheraton Hotels & Resorts.

“As Sheraton continues to inspire new journeys into the new year, we look forward to welcoming guests to enjoy all the familiar comforts of the brand, but with fresh, contemporary updates along with new, exciting guest-programming experiences.”

The new Sheraton Xi’an Chanba will feature 228 guest rooms and suites, with an overall design that is inspired by China’s historical Tang Dynasty. The hotel lobby features an eye-catching art installation, which acts as a centrepiece for the range of public spaces and amenities.

Sheraton Xi’an Chanba will feature a bar and three restaurants, including &More by Sheraton, which offers locally-sourced food and unique coffee beverages via a partnership with Laihui Coffee.

Club-level guests and Marriott Bonvoy Elite members can pay a visit to the exclusive Sheraton Club, which hosts an Oval Bar with skyline views of Xi’an.

The Greater China region is also home to Sheraton’s Xi’an South hotel, located in the centre of the Software New City area. Meanwhile, the Sheraton Ningbo Xiangshan Resort is a beachside property located on the coast of Xiangshan. Additionally there is the Sheraton Nanjing Kingsley Hotel & Towers, found in the city’s Xinjiekou financial and commercial district.
