Xi’an welcomes first JW Marriott Hotel
The exciting launch of JW Marriott Hotel Xi’an marks the first Marriott Bonvoy property in the central Chinese city
Located in the central business district of Xi’an‘s Economic and Technological Development Zone, the hotel features 333 guest rooms and 13 suites equipped with modern amenities. The destination sits next to key sights and attractions like the Terracotta Warriors site – a UNESCO World Heritage-listed destination which is found 40 kilometres from the hotel. The neighbourhood is also home to top attractions such as the Daming Palace National Heritage Park and the Ancient City Wall.
Guest rooms between the 25th and 37th floors of the hotel have floor-to-ceiling windows offering views of Xi’an, while the hotel lobby located on the 38th floor offers panoramic views of sights including the Qin Ling Mountains: the “dragon’s vein of China.” The hotel’s JW Executive Lounge is on the third floor, and acts as an exclusive space for guests looking to focus on work or to relax too.
“We are thrilled to debut JW Marriott Hotel Xi’an and expand the JW brand portfolio into a destination where history and culture combine with a forward-looking modernity,” said Bruce Rohr, Vice President and Global Brand Leader at JW Marriott.
“True to its brand DNA, JW Marriott Hotel Xi’an bears the legacy of our founder J. Willard Marriott and creates a tranquil, luxury space that offers many paths to well-being, where guests can nourish their souls while they explore one of China’s great ancient capitals.”
The hotel also has reportedly 3,470 square metres of space for guests to host social or business-focused events.
