Viva Cruises focuses on wellness as spectacular new ships set sail in January
While many remain in hibernation during the winter months, Viva Cruises is heading out onto the river for the start of the new season as the world’s only tour operator to offer year-round cruises.
Viva Cruises is the world’s only tour operator to offer cruises all-year-round, offering travellers the chance to start the year with a relaxed holiday on the water. The first trips of the year set sail on four-night short trips from Düsseldorf on January 19, including Viva One and Viva Moments.
Everything revolves around wellness onboard the Viva One from January to March. The Viva All-Inclusive and the excursions are themed, and a 30-minute massage is also included. Guests can travel to the Rheingau, Boppard and Rüdesheim as well as Bonn and Cologne. Or they can choose the Rheinhessen wellness trip with stops in Koblenz, Frankfurt and Speyer.
Meanwhile, Viva Moments takes guests on city trips to the Netherlands and Belgium in January, February and March. A cheese tasting is included in the cruise price in the Netherlands, while an exclusive beer tasting event awaits guests in Belgium. From February to March, eight-day crime cruises are set to take place onboard the Swiss Ruby. The routes lead from Düsseldorf to Berlin or from Berlin back to Düsseldorf with stops such as Duisburg, Münster, Brandenburg and Potsdam.
In cooperation with Gmeiner Verlag, which specialises in German crime literature, Viva Cruises offers crime fans a complete supporting programme on board, including exciting live readings by successful German crime writers. Viva Cruises travels to Europe’s most beautiful river worlds and offers year-round cruises on the Rhine, Danube, Main, Moselle, Seine, Rhône and the Baltic Sea coast with its modern fleet. Its all-inclusive offering includes a rich breakfast buffet, gourmet menus at lunchtime and in the evening, tips and high-quality drinks from the entire bar menu throughout the day and a minibar in the cabins that is always stocked.
