Discover 26 secrets of the Philippines at ITB Berlin 2023

The tourism board of the Philippines is bringing 26 tourism providers to the world’s biggest travel trade show to present their latest products and offers at stand 100 in Hall 26.

The delegation, led by Minister of Tourism and Director of the Department of Tourism Garcia Frasco and the COO of the Philippines Tourist Board, Maria Margarita Montemayor Nograles will showcase the country’s travel assets, including new flight connections and a variety of products.

The country’s impressive recovery after the global pandemic has been made clear by the latest entry figures, with 2,59 million international arrivals in from February to December 2022, including 38,000 Germans, making Germany the second European inbound market.

Ms Garcia, the youngest member of the Cabinet and first woman in the role, will be leading the delegation at ITB Berlin. She has a proven track record in social sustainability and environmental protection.

Through its Frankfurt office, headed by Daks Gonzales, the country is planning on working closely with tour operators and travel agencies on the topic of product expansion and training in 2023. Also on the agenda are webinars, information trips, participation in workshops and road shows as well as joint marketing campaigns.

The Philippines has a rich tourism offering, with palm-fringed dream beaches, lush green rice terraces, tropical rain forests, exciting metropolises and endless experiences.
