COMTRAVO NAMED AS ONE OF GERMANY’S TOP 25 STARTUPS
German start-up Comtravo helps in finding the best travel options for SMEs by offering personalised service with cutting-edge technology. This positioning has enabled the company to be recognised by gruender.de as one of Germany’s top 25 start-ups in 2021.
Created back in 2015, start-up Comtravo is a Berlin-made success story. With €40m in funding, the company has received the support of large corporations such as M12, Microsoft’s Venture Fund, Deutsche Bank, Creandum and Endeit Capital. “Investors’ confidence proves how strongly our business model caters to the needs of our target group,” says CEO Michael Riegel.
Comtravo’s focus is on SMEs and Expanding Strategic Expertise. The combined force of travel experts with automated smart technology is today bearing its fruits. In just one year’s time, the number of SMEs using Comtravo jumped from 900 to 1,800; a dynamic which has now been recognised, as Comtravo was cited by the industry publication Gruender.de to be among the top 25 start-ups in Germany.
Comtravo’s end-to-end solution radically simplifies the process of booking and managing business trips by automating manual processes with cutting-edge technology providing customers with personalised options based on their preferences.
Regular requests (e.g., flight and hotel bookings) are already 60% automated, whereas more complex cases (e.g., group bookings) are still being handled by travel experts. The human-machine approach guarantees that processes are as efficient as possible, while at the same time achieving a high service level and an extremely fast processing… the keys to Comtravo’s success.
