ENVIRONMENT AT HEART OF ITB READING LIST

With support growing from scientists, climate activists and individuals around the world to combat climate and environment problems and their fatal consequences, a growing number of travel professionals are taking these issues to heart.

To this end, Rika Jean-François, ITB commissioner for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) has presented an extensive book list for those keen on finding out more about the discourse on a wide range of topics surrounding sustainability and global responsibility.  During research for the ITB Book Awards at ITB Berlin NOW, a number of these publications have been put together as part of an overview of recommended reading.

The list includes books such as those by Federal Minister of Development Dr Gerd Müller, Rethinking: questions about the survival of mankind; the Dalai Lama, Our Only Home: A Climate Appeal to the World; and Greta Thunberg, I want you to panic! My speeches on climate protection.

Ms Jean-François has also presented an illustrated book, Human Nature, which features work from famous photographers including Cristina Mittermeier, Tim Laman and Frans Lanting.
