IHG Hotels & Resorts debuts 1st voco Hotel in Vietnam
IHG Hotels & Resorts, a global hotel company with an extensive portfolio of 6,000 hotels across 18 brands, proudly announces the inauguration of voco Ma Belle Danang – Vietnam’s inaugural voco hotel and the brand’s 50th worldwide opening.
Danang, one of Vietnam’s largest cities renowned for its pristine sandy beaches and rich cultural heritage, serves as the perfect backdrop for voco Ma Belle Danang. Nestled on Vo Nguyen Giap Street amidst the iconic attractions of downtown Danang, this 27-storey hotel is part of IHG’s premium collection, offering breathtaking views of the coastline and cityscape, with direct access to the soft sands of My Khe Beach.
Daniel Solombrino, General Manager of voco Ma Belle Danang, expressed his excitement about the hotel’s debut, stating, “Weaving elements of Vietnamese culture and local hospitality, voco Ma Belle Danang will introduce a reliable yet distinctive stay experience to the market. Embodying the brand’s charming personality, hosted service, and sustainability focus, our hotel offers great accessibility to the downtown area, spectacular views, and a wide variety of activities tailored for guests of all ages, making Danang the perfect destination for our brand’s entry into Vietnam.”
Designed by the Vietnam-based design studio dwp, the hotel’s interior showcases a sense of femininity through curved walls and a color palette combining teal, yellow, and grey, creating an ambiance of fluidity and sophistication. Stepping into the lobby, guests are greeted by a captivating spiral sculpture as handpicked artworks adorn the space, reminiscent of an art gallery. The rooms and suites feature timber, teal, and grey finishes accentuated with vibrant pops of voco hotels’ signature yellow through upholstery and artwork, offering a serene ambiance for unwinding.
Upon arrival, guests are welcomed with a locally-inspired treat – complimentary mango macarons, a signature hallmark of voco hotels – along with a seamless check-in experience. In the guestrooms, one can enjoy signature voco hotels’ amenities that highlight the brand’s commitment to a more sustainable future. These include indulgent beds with pillow and duvet fillings made from 100 percent recycled materials and refillable bathroom bulk amenities from Apotheke, a plant-based organic skincare company making its debut in Vietnam.
The hotel offers outstanding dining experiences through its three dynamic restaurants and bars, including Lyla, an all-day dining restaurant, and the Lobby Lounge. For those seeking picturesque views and an upbeat atmosphere, the rooftop pool, Ciela Skybar, and Dining provide breathtaking vistas of the Danang seafront, perfect for capturing memorable Instagrammable moments.
Additional amenities for guests include a luxurious spa, a 24-hour gym, and over 521 square meters of flexible meeting and event space.
Strategically located, voco Ma Belle Danang offers guests easy access to Central Vietnam’s most popular destinations. The hotel is situated along the My Khe Beach, a haven for daytime relaxation and water sports. Nearby attractions include Man Thai, a traditional fishing village at the foot of the Son Tra Peninsula, Linh Ung Pagoda housing Vietnam’s tallest Buddha statue, and the renowned Golden Bridge.
