INTRODUCING ICELAND’S NEW FAMILY RESORT LAUNCHING IN 2023

Legendary Hotels and Resorts is bringing its hospitality franchise to Iceland, with a new family resort project planned to launch in 2023.

The company will reportedly renovate an existing hotel in Iceland’s southern region, home to natural sights and attractions such as waterfalls, volcanoes, glaciers and black sand beaches. The resort will apparently feature onsite stables, along with a riding arena and areas for equestrian activities.

There will also be other attractions like an ice rink, mini golf, table tennis, a shooting range and more. Children can also enjoy a playground and childcare facilities. There will even be a graffiti wall to experiment on. Guests will also be able to enjoy a cinema, as well as a spa that features cryosaunas, hot tubs, a gym and yoga rooms.

Legendary Hotels and Resorts has said it anticipates an average of 30% to 40% of local visitors, and between 60% to 70% international tourists. The company has predicted the average stay will reach up to five nights.

“From all at Legendary Hotels and Resorts, we’d like to extend our sincere thanks to the municipality of Iceland for their welcoming, and supportive approach to this, and our other projects across the country,” said Dmitrijs Stals, CEO and Founder of Legendary Hotels and Resorts.

“This is an exciting project, with many benefits to Icelandic and other families. We can’t wait to launch the resort, which will stand shoulder to shoulder with the world’s finest.”

Legendary Hotels and Resorts is committed to its operations in Iceland, with reports saying the company is aiming to construct, purchase or rebrand 12 hotels in the country by 2024.
