In addition to the long-established TO DO! Award for socially responsible tourism, the Studienkreis für Tourismus und Entwicklung will for the third time present the TO DO! Human Rights in Tourism Award at this year’s ITB Berlin. The “TO DO! Award ” has been a permanent feature of ITB Berlin since 1995 and rewards initiatives that involve local inhabitants in tourism projects. In 2022, the “International Contest for Socially Responsible Tourism” prize went to the Indian trekking project Himalayan Ecotourism, while the AguiKat initiative had received the TO DO! Human Rights Award.
