The Middle East’s tourism gems shine at ITB Berlin 2024

Destinations from the Middle East are making a significant impact at ITB Berlin 2024, further expanding on their strong representation from previous years. This year, they are showcasing rich cultural experiences and diverse tourism offerings, with a notable presence in several halls of the exhibition.

Hall 2.2 is a focal point for the Middle East at the show, with Oman, the Official Host Country of ITB Berlin 2024, notably doubling its display area to 800 square meters compared to last year, underlining its commitment to the tourism industry. Oman’s presence is not only significant in terms of size but also in the diversity of its offer, with an additional stand in the Adventure Travel segment located in Hall 4.1, showcasing the country’s unique blend of natural beauty and adventure tourism opportunities.

Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) are also strongly represented, reflecting their ongoing desire to promote their tourism sectors on the global stage. The UAE, in particular, is making a notable return with the participation of Emirates airline, signifying the pivotal role that air connectivity plays in the region’s tourism growth.

In Hall 4.2, the largest exhibitor is Saudi, demonstrating its vast and ambitious tourism projects and cultural heritage. Jordan and Qatar also have a significant presence this year, with Qatar Airways securing a spot in the hall.
