RateHawk soars into ITB China 2025 with record growth

RateHawk, exhibiting at ITB China this year, is a B2B booking platform for hotels, flights, and transfers for travel professionals. The company is celebrating its ninth anniversary and strong growth, especially over the last year.

In 2024, RateHawk’s net booking value grew by 1.8 times compared to the previous year, while total bookings rose by 67%. The platform played a key role in driving the $3.7 billion (approximately 26.8 billion CNY) gross transaction value achieved by its parent company, Emerging Travel Group.

Over the past year RateHawk continued to expand its inventory, adding over 70 new accommodation suppliers, surpassing 300 wholesalers globally. It also signed direct contracts with more than 34,000 properties, now offering over 2.6 million accommodation options worldwide.

Transport services also surged in popularity, with flight and transfer bookings doubling. The launch of European rail bookings proved successful, with more than 25% of frequent users adopting the new feature within three months.

“According to the latest UN Tourism report, 1.4 billion people travelled internationally in 2024,” says Felix Shpilman, President and CEO of Emerging Travel Group, the travel tech company behind RateHawk. “We’re proud to deliver unparalleled support to our partners during this exciting period of travel industry growth, developing both platform services and API integrations.”

RateHawk has also localised its platform in eight additional languages (now 32 total), opened a new regional HQ in Singapore, and grown its partner network to over 93,000 travel professionals globally—a 50% increase year-over-year.

With a global team of over 500 people in commercial roles and offices across Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and the U.S., RateHawk is poised to connect with new partners and showcase its solutions at ITB China 2025.
