Western Australia and its capital Perth will soon be a step closer to Europe. A new non-stop flight between Paris and Perth will take off on July 12 with Qantas. The 17-hour flight will operate four days a week during the European summer (and the Paris Olympics) on Qantas’ Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft. Services will then move to three times a week from mid-August 2024.
The route will also provide connections for more than 70 destinations across the region, including Athens, Barcelona and Frankfurt. On the Perth side, European travellers will gain access to the rest of Australia.
