Together we will master the transformation

Hello and welcome to the third and final day of ITB Berlin. We have brought members of the tourism and travel industry from all over the world together under one roof at Messe Berlin and the result has been fantastic. With Georgia, our official host country, leading the charge, we are here to master the transformation.

The industry’s leading thinktank, ITB Convention, will continue to host a wide range of hard-hitting events today on our four stages in Halls 7.1a, 7.1b, 6.1 and 3.1. One of the highlights is the Responsible Tourism track which will open today at 10.30 p.m. in Hall 7.1 with Prof. Dr. Dr. hc. mult. Hans-Joachim Schellnhuber, a leading climate scientist and honorary director of the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research (PIK).

If you haven’t already had the chance, I suggest you visit our new ITB Lighthouse Stage in Hall 4.1 which features informative keynote speeches and presentations on adventure travel, careers and responsible tourism topics. Also, this year, together with the CBS International Business School and co:compass, the trade show is celebrating the return of the Best Exhibitor Award.

Another area worth visiting is our ITB Innovation Radar which is showcasing a selection of exhibitors’ new products, innovations that will have a long-term impact on tomorrow’s travel industry. Another great source of innovation is are the Travel Technology halls, which are fully booked.

Thank you all for coming here in such large numbers, and enjoy the last day of this year’s show.
