SABRE AND SABRON PARTNER TO OFFER NEW TRAVEL TECHNOLOGIES IN EAST AFRICA

Sabre Corporation recently announced a long-term strategic partnership with SABRON Tech Ltd, a travel technology distribution company based in Nairobi, Kenya. Sabre is a self-described leading software and technology provider for the travel industry, and the company will use this agreement to boost its activity in key markets in East Africa.

The partnership is intended to strengthen the geographical reach of Sabre, bringing travel technology solutions and services to East African markets through SABRON. The Kenyan company is licensed to represent and distribute Sabre to agencies across Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda.

“As travel restrictions continue to ease and travel ramps up, it is vital that travel agencies, corporations and suppliers have the right tools at their fingertips to capture industry recovery,” said Saby Morenas, managing director of SABRON Tech Ltd.

“As such, we’re delighted to be able to bring SABRON’s regional expertise together with Sabre’s intuitive technology to ensure the East African travel ecosystem is better placed to cut through increased complexities while optimising revenue. Sabre is an ideal partner to empower our customers by providing them with innovative technology and solutions to help drive growth, boost revenue, and transform their business.”

Sabre offers travel technology solutions within retailing and distribution. One of the company’s innovations is the Sabre Red 360 interface, which offers travel agents the opportunity to deliver personalised offers to travellers.

Collaboration is more important to the travel industry than ever before, so we’re thrilled to welcome SABRON to Sabre’s network of official distributors at this critical time for industry recovery,” said Salman Syed, vice president of agency sales, Sabre Travel Solutions.
