This year’s ITB Berlin got off to a strong start at Monday night’s opening gala. Albania, ITB Berlin’s Official Host Country, took centre stage and wowed guests with a spectacular show. Albanian Prime Minister H.E. Edi Rama set the tone by recalling how far Albanian tourism has come with its 80% increase in arrivals over the last five years while a striking succession of audiovisuals and live performances highlighted the country’s beauty, culture, and traditions. The ribbon-cutting ceremony on Albania’s stand and opening tour yesterday morning officially opened this year’s show.
