ITB Berlin 2025 provides the Home of Luxury with an iconic new location

The Palais am Funkturm welcomes the luxury travel segment Home of Luxury for the first time this year

Built in 1956/57, the Palais am Funkturm remains one of the most iconic venues of post-war Germany and Berlin. Restored a few years ago, the Palais am Funkturm exudes the charm and elegance of the 1950s with its majestic stairs, grand chandelier and original furniture at the bar. The structure serves as a unique venue for balls, banquets and receptions, congress events as well as movies. And now for the Home of Luxury—an exclusive venue for exclusive luxury exhibitors and buyers.

From 4 to 6 March 2025, ITB Berlin is once again showcasing the entire spectrum of the tourism industry – including the world of luxury travel. The Home of Luxury, a separate exhibition area, is moving to the Palais am Funkturm, one of Berlin’s most spectacular venues, offering the luxury travel segment an even more elegant stage.

The Home of Luxury at ITB Berlin specifically targets luxury travel providers and buyers. It offers a unique platform for networking, events and meetings. This year, specialists such as Abercrombie & Kent, Hi DMC, Koh Jum Beach Villas, Grupo Vidanta, Lobster Experience, The Biltmore Mayfair, and Sani/Ikos will be present.

Exhibitors benefit from the immediate proximity to one of the show’s main entrances and the public display areas of ITB Berlin. Away from the hustle and bustle of the show, the Palais am Funkturm offers a secluded area for business meetings and networking. Exhibitors benefit from services such as free cloakrooms and catering.

The move from the Marshall Haus to the Palais am Funkturm also means that the Home of Luxury is now in direct proximity to the ITB Buyers Circle Lounge. This special ITB Berlin programme is open exclusively to 1,300 top buyers and brings together the major decision-makers in the industry.

Networking and exclusive events at the Home of Luxury

The Home of Luxury invites exhibitors and buyers to explore the latest luxury travel trends, and as such there is also a wide-ranging event programme including networking events such as a buyers’ breakfast, an evening hosted by the Connoisseur Circle, the official media partner, as well as Meet the Media, which will take place in the afternoon on all three days of the show, promoting dialogue between luxury travel industry players and the media.

For the first time, ITB Berlin 2025 is also hosting free guided tours to offer trade visitors specific orientation at the show. Led by industry experts, the tours will give interested parties an opportunity to meet selected brand representatives. One of the tours will focus specifically on the Home of Luxury and offer insights into this sector.

Through ITB Berlin’s Match & Meet platform, exhibitors can set up meetings with prospective business partners in advance and invite them to a dedicated exhibition area. This year ITB Match & Meet is accessible via browser (with a mobile version available), offering improved networking with targeted contact suggestions, leveraging data directly from the ticket shop (only email confirmation required). It also offers better filtering options, including by category (buyers, trade visitors), and contacts can be exported to Excel while appointments can be exported to Outlook for increased efficiency.

ITB has conducted a current industry report in which the results, based on a global industry survey held three times a year, will be presented at the ITB Berlin Convention. The most recent survey was performed in January 2025, and the report provides insights into current developments in the business climate, sustainability, digitalisation and artificial intelligence. The ITB Travel & Tourism Radar Report can be purchased during and after the show.
