Today is Accessible Tourism Day at ITB Berlin, a full-day event featuring keynote speeches, presentations, and panel discussions focused on barrier-free travel. This year’s edition, the thirteenth, is taking place from 10:30 am to 4:30 pm in CityCube Room A5 and covers everything from barrier-free destination development to legal frameworks, digital innovations and AI. Sponsored by Germany’s Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection, the event is being opened by Dieter Janecek; Federal Government Commissioner for Tourism; Jürgen Dusel, Federal Government Commissioner for the Interests of People with Disabilities, and André Nowak of the German Disability Council. Also available online, Accessible Tourism Day will be held in German and English.
