Puglia seashores

Fiery sunsets, endless views and slow rhythms. Discovering Puglia through its sea is a must for young travellers, along 800
kilometres of coastline. Puglian shores host diverse activities: underwater excitement around the Tremiti Islands or along the strands of Gargano, birdwatching at Lakes Lesina and Varano, old fishing machines known as “Trabucchi” from Rodi Garganico and Peschici to Vieste. Age-old villages, abbeys, cathedrals, castles, grottoes, lighthouses and amazing bays deliver a breathtaking experience. Pink flamingos and white storks can be spotted in the Manfredonia and Margherita di
Savoia wetlands.

Travelers can board on colourful boats, sailing along Molfetta, Giovinazzo, and Bari, or down to the sea
caves of Polignano a Mare and
Monopoli, amid secluded
bays and beaches.  Sea urchins can be savoured after exploring the archaeological sites in Savelletri.  Young voyagers venture the secluded beaches in the Natural Parks and Marine Protected Areas between Brindisi  and Lecce, or walk along the coastal dunes between Torre Canne, Torre San Leonardo and Torre Guaceto.  Sports buffs embrace wind and waves,  kitesurfing at the pace of the Alimini mistral or high-cliff diving at Ciolo.  Some simply love to relax on the golden beaches next to the marinas of Ugento, Gallipoli, Nardò and Porto Cesareo.
