Peru wows visitors at ITB Berlin 2024

Peru is launching its new international advertising campaign “Peru Wow” on the German-speaking market at ITB Berlin 2024. The destination is showcasing its natural and cultural diversity in the three regions of the Andes, the Pacific coast and the Amazon rainforest. 

Together with 25 Peruvian suppliers, the representatives of Promperú, led by Managing Director Angélica Matsuda, is presenting a diverse range of offers from Peru, ranging from exclusive luxury products and gastronomy to cultural heritage, active experiences and sustainable encounters with the country’s indigenous population.

Visitors to ITB Berlin can taste Peruvian coffee and pisco on Peru’s stand as well as discover exhibits from the north such as the Señor de Sipán. Four highlights of Peru—the Nasca Lines, Kuélap, Machupicchu and the Colca Gorge—will be brought to life with the help of virtual reality.

Promperú Managing Director Angélica Matsuda emphaises that a highlight on Peru’s stand will be the pisco reception on Wednesday 6th March to celebrate the launch of the “Peru Wow” campaign in Germany.  In addition to exciting information about the campaign and other news from Peru, guests can look forward to typical Peruvian delicacies.
