VIETNAM’S FUSION GROUP ACQUIRES GLOW HOTELS & RESORTS

Fusion Hotels & Resorts, one of Vietnam’s most recognised domestic hotel chains, has acquired Thai-based Glow Hotels & Resorts.

Glow operates hotels in Thailand, Malaysia and Vietnam.

Kevin Beauvais has been appointed Chief Executive of Fusion Hotels & Resorts. He brings extensive experience in hotel operations and executive management, most recently as Founder and Chief Executive of InVision Hospitality and Glow Hotels & Resorts. Previously, he also held senior executive positions at Minor Group and Marriott International for 25 years.

Beauvais says the acquisition will solidify Fusion Hotels & Resorts’ standing as a leading hotel brand and position it well for future growth in the Southeast Asian tourism market.

After the merger, the brand will have nearly 4,000 rooms.

“The union marks a new chapter for both Fusion Hotels & Resorts and Glow Hotels & Resorts, allowing them to continue enhancing services to their customers, driving future growth and delivering value to shareholders,” said Beauvais.

Beauvais says that following the merger, Fusion will continue to focus on deepening its presence in Vietnam as well as capitalising on its new Thailand foothold, seeking other attractive growth opportunities in Southeast Asia through both post-pandemic consolidation and organic growth.
