Its Eco-Guide supports businesses with 55 tips provided to increase companies’ sustainability. The guide also helps them save costs and equips them with a distinctive advantage regarding consumer demand. It is accessible to everyone regardless of their technical background.

To foster an inclusive approach to sustainability and make it accessible to a wider audience, ASSET-H&C’s Eco-Guide for Hospitality Businesses & Schools was recently released in Burmese, Khmer, Thai, and Vietnamese.

Young people from the Greater Mekong Subregion can then easily learn in their own language how to implement sustainable practices. The guide concentrates on four key focus areas: energy, water, waste and pollution, mitigation and adaptation to climate change.

It lists 35 practical recommendations and 20 good practices such as the use of LED lights, reusable water bottles in rooms or composting restaurant leftovers. The Eco Guide can be downloaded here and can be further distributed.
