JW MARRIOTT DEBUTS IN PACIFIC REGION

JW Marriott Gold Coast Resort & Spa has opened in Australia, marking the debut of the iconic brand in the Pacific region.

The hotel’s 223 guestrooms and suites draw inspiration from their urban beachside location and are, says Marriott, “designed to appeal to the most discerning traveller”.

JW Marriott Gold Coast Resort & Spa allows guests to relax and unwind with features including the brand’s signature Secret Spots, private nooks and secluded spaces.

Guests can also participate in a series of five to 10-minute relaxation rituals and activities daily, such as guided meditation sessions.

The resort features six food and beverage venues that offer a range of cuisines, locally sourced produce and sophisticated bar menus. The signature restaurant, Misono, inspired by the famous Harajuku laneways, offers an “avenue” of Japanese dining experiences, including an intimate Izakaya sushi bar, tearoom and whisky bar with an outdoor terrace.

The resort’s all-day dining restaurant, Citrique, places fresh local produce and seafood at the heart of its menu and features a show kitchen where guests can enjoy live cooking presentations.

Located minutes from the beach, the resort also offers a refined venue for memorable weddings, meetings and events with 2,000 square metres of function space, featuring 10 scalable spaces for different event requirements.
